Good evening ladies and gentlemen. This is the first time I've been on a computer for any length of time in a while. A few days ago, my computer stopped working so it is now going to the apple hospital to hopefully be repaired.
I wanted to give you a bullet point-ish post though to remind you that I'm still around and tell you what's going on over here.
I'll leave you with this cute picture of my little boy wearing a romper I made for him a couple of weeks ago using my serger. It turned out pretty cute. This was my third time using this pattern. Do you remember the last time I made a romper? It was only 4 months ago and I used the leftover seersucker fabric to make my husband a bow tie (my first tie). It seems like forever ago - I've made hundreds of ties since then!
Cheers,
Ellie
I’d definitely want to on any mailing list…
Ellie, it’s been fun watching your bow tie business grow!
As for an email service, Mail Chimp is a pretty popular one. (If you have less than 50 people, I think that’s the #, your account is free with them). And it’s html friendly so you can design your sign up forms and emails, etc, to how you want them to look.
You can also sync your blog with mail chimp to send an email when you have a new post..but last I remember, it wasn’t immediate. I think mail chimp would check every day at like 1am and if there was a new post it would send an email.
Also, mail chimp charges based on how many people you have as your contacts…not by each email.
Other email services would be iContact and Constant Contact.
Ellie,
Thanks to you Tim has started bowtie Wed. at school and all the teachers and now kids are starting to wear bowties. One of the teachers (Tom Byrant) got a bowtie from you and loves it. He actually ties Tim’s bowtie every Wed.
So I am saving up to build Tim’s bowtie collection. He wears your bowtie every Wed., and we will build up his Cordial Churchman bowties collection. I am excited about the mailing list and giveaway and will spread the word! Keep it up girl. You are amazing!
so cute!!!!!! I bet your mom is so happy you are getting such good use out of the sewing machine!
